Natural wood floater frame

This was painted from life at a an airbnb tucked in the wooded wetlands of Michigan. I really wanted to paint the light of that lamp and didn't want the overhead lights to interfere with the light I was trying to capture. This meant that in order to see what I was painting, I used only the flashlight on my phone! A challenge that proved fruitful!
